On the rich, alien world of Pandora, the native Na’vi may seem primitive at first glance, but they are deeply evolved, living in harmony with their environment. Pandora’s atmosphere, however, is toxic to humans. To navigate this world, human scientists create hybrid beings called Avatars, controlled by human minds. Jake Sully, a paralyzed ex-Marine, gains the ability to walk again through one such Avatar. As he explores the world, he forms a deep connection with a Na’vi woman. Their relationship grows, pulling Jake into a fierce struggle to protect her people and the fragile beauty of Pandora.
